WHAT TO EXPECT

For 90 years, God has been faithful to Goldsboro Worship Center. This October, we’re coming together for a special weekend to celebrate where God has brought us from and look ahead with expectation to where He is leading us next.

And we’re taking it back to where it all began — under the tent.

Our church began in a tent 90 years ago, so we can’t think of a better place to celebrate our history, worship together, and break ground on the future home of GWC.

Whether you’ve been part of GWC for decades or you’re joining us for the first time, you’re invited.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17

90th Anniversary Celebration | 4:30 PM

Saturday is all about celebrating 90 years of GWC with our church family, friends, and community.

Come early, bring the family, and plan to spend the evening with us.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Food
Come hungry! We’ll have food available as we gather and celebrate together.

Inflatables & Family Fun
We’ll have inflatables and activities for the kids, making this a celebration the whole family can enjoy.

90 Years of History & Heritage
Step inside our history and heritage tent for a look back at the people, places, photographs, stories, and moments that have shaped Goldsboro Worship Center over the past 90 years.

It’s an opportunity to remember the generations who came before us and celebrate the faithfulness of God through every season.

Fellowship & Celebration
More than anything, Saturday is a chance to be together. Reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, share memories, and celebrate everything God has done through GWC since 1936.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18

Worship & Groundbreaking Service | 10:00 AM

Sunday morning will be a historic day in the life of Goldsboro Worship Center.

We’re moving our Sunday worship service outside and under the tent for one special morning.

We’ll worship together, celebrate God’s faithfulness through 90 years of ministry, and officially break ground on our new church building.

THE GROUND­BREAKING

Following worship, we’ll celebrate the beginning of the next chapter of GWC with our official groundbreaking ceremony.

For generations, people have prayed, served, sacrificed, given, and believed for what God would do through this church.

Now we get to put shovels in the ground and take another step forward together.

This weekend isn’t only about looking back.
It’s about thanking God for 90 years of faithfulness and stepping together into what comes next.
